Based out of New York City and Los Angeles, Elizabeth Priya Kumar is a full-service event planner that has successfully grown her wedding lifestyle brand to receive nationwide recognition for her creative and experiential planning. Priya, as she likes to be called, began her career in corporate event planning working for notorious Fortune 500 companies. With a push from her brother and sister, she subsequently went on to create Premini Events in 2010, naming the company after them.
Being named, "Planner of the Year" by the International Live Events Association, Priya has expanded the company to new heights by opening up several divisions under the brand. With hard work and perseverance, the company went bi-coastal having offices and full time teams in NYC and LA due to the demand of services and plans to open up several other locations. As the rise of her success continued, she was named President of the National Association of Catering and Event Professionals in 2014 and retired from that role in 2017. Priya also serves on the Board of Directors for the Wedding Industry Professionals Association for the New York City Chapter.
In her spare time, Priya enjoys spending time with her siblings, parents, and friends. Priya donates her time and resources to various charities as a way of giving back to the world. She also enjoys trying out new restaurants and is an avid lover of music, concerts and comedy. Much of Priya's inspiration derives out of European attributes such as flamenco guitar and old world poetry. With several projects currently in the works under the Premini brand, the sky is the limit.

This versatile team is also well versed in destination weddings throughout the Caribbean islands among other locations.
